 Beer Bread

 1. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder and half a teaspoon of parsley to the batter. Bake as directed, and then brush some melted garlic butter on the top.

2. Add 1 Tbsp of pepper & 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese before cooking.

3. Add 1 rounded Tbsp. of Parmesan Herb Mix to the batter before baking.

4. Cherry-Raspberry Bread- Mix together Beer Bread mix, 1 can raspberry soda, ½ cup cherry chips (like chocolate chips), and 1 ripe banana. Pour into greased bread pan. Melt 3 Tbsp. butter and pour on top. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until done.

5. Mimosa Muffins- Prepare Beer Bread Mix with 6 oz champagne, 6 oz orange juice and 1 peeled and coarsely chopped orange. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full; sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

6. Cinnabon Bread- Add Beer Bread Mix, 12 oz can root beer, and 1 bag Hershey’s cinnamon chips. Bake according to directions on package. Frost it with a powdered sugar glaze.

7. Cinnamon Beer Bread- Prepare Beer Bread Mix as directed on box with Sprite instead of beer. Stir in ½ cup cinnamon chips. Place in greased loaf pan, top with pats of butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake as directed.

8. Banana Bread- Stir together Beer Bread Mix, 12 oz Sprite or apple juice, 1 cup mashed bananas, and ½ cup chopped walnuts. Pour into a greased bread loaf pan; drizzle melted 2 Tbsp. butter over top. Bake as directed on package.

9. Beer Bread Pizza Dough- Combine dry mix with 1 cup and 3 Tbsp beer. Cover and let rest 5 minutes. With greased hands, press dough onto greased pizza pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 375°. Top with sauce, meats and cheeses. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Crust will be thick and chewy.

10. Gingerbread- Mix together Beer Bread Mix, 12 oz. Root Beer, 1/2 cup molasses, and 3 scoops Vanilla Chai. Bake according to package directions.

11. Orange Streusel Bread- Mix Beer Bread Mix with 12 oz orange soda and put in greased loaf pan. In small bowl, mix ¼ cup flour, ¼ cup sugar, 2 Tbsp brown sugar, ½ tsp. cinnamon, and ¼ cup melted butter. Sprinkle over batter. Bake as directed on package.

12. Mexican Beer Bread
1 pkg. Beer Bread Mix
12 oz. beer
1 can creamed corn
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar
1 can whole green chilies
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Stir together Beer Bread Mix, corn meal, creamed corn and beer. Grease a 9"x13" pan. Layer half of batter in pan. Separate green chilies into strips and lay on batter. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Layer remaining batter on top, spread to cover green chilies and cheese. Pour melted butter on top. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes, remove when golden. Cool slightly and cut into squares.

13. Bake Beer Bread as directed. Melt 1 stick butter. In separate bowl mix together 1 cup grated cheddar cheese, ½ cup Monterrey jack cheese, and 1 bunch chopped green onions. Cut bread horizontally and then vertically. Do not cut all the way thru the bottom of the crust. Pour the butter over the cut bread. Spread cheese mixture in the cracks of the bread. Bake until cheese is melted.

14. Chardonnay and Cheddar Cheese Bread- Add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and substitute Chardonnay for the beer.

15. Irish Soda Bread- Instead of beer, use a carbonated clear soda, such as ginger ale or 7-Up, 1 cup of raisins and 3 Tbsp of caraway or rye seeds. Bake as directed. Drizzle the top with honey and sprinkle with more seeds for a festive look. Place back in the oven for the honey to melt. Tip- Bake in a round cake pan so it comes out looking like a traditional round soda bread.
