Caramel Apple Dip

1. Mix dip as directed, and just before serving, mix in any type of Toffee bar that has been cut into small pieces!
2. Use the Caramel Apple Dip as frosting for Spiced Apple Cake, Pecan Pie Muffins or any chocolate cake mix. Prepare as directed with cream cheese and leave out until room temp.
3. Caramel Upside Down Cake
Prepare Spiced Apple Cake batter according to package, set aside. Take a cake pan (round or square) and spray with baking spray. Then line with parchment paper or wax paper to fit the bottom, spray again. Slice 1-2 apples into thin rings (depending on how big your pan is). Single layer them onto the lined pan. Place Caramel Apple Dip in a small sauce pan with 1/2 stick of butter and melt on low. Pour over apples until covered. You may not use the entire sauce pan. Then pour in the Spiced Apple Cake Batter on top and bake according to directions or until clean toothpick in center. When done, let cool slightly. Invert onto plate or platter, remove pan, and gently remove wax paper. Great served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
4. Sweet Carrots- Boil a bag of baby carrots until tender, drain, then saute for 5 minutes in 1 Tbsp of caraway seeds and 1/2 package of Caramel Apple Dip Mix, with a few drops of water. Stir until coated and mixture makes a glaze. |
