Name   5 Star Coconut Pie 
Description   Another old family recipe. Requires baked pie shell, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Instruction   Mix 2 cups milk and contents of package in saucepan over low heat. Beat 2 egg yolks and stir into mixture. Cook on medium low until thickens. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue if desired. (Beat 2 egg whites stiffly and then slowly add 4 Tbsp. sugar) Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.

Description   Can’t beat this one! Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.
Instruction   Add fillo dough (found with frozen pastries), butter, and honey. Makes a 9x13 pan.

Name   Apple/Peach Crisp 
Description   Very popular and easy dessert mix! Packed with walnuts and coconut, it looks just as beautiful as it tastes! Requires margarine and canned apples or peaches. Makes 9x9 pan.
Instruction   Empty contents of bag into a bowl. Add ½ stick of melted margarine. Mix until well blended. Drain a 29 oz. can of apples or peaches and place in sprayed 8x8 pan. Spread topping mixture evenly over peaches. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Name   Caramel Pecan Pie 
Description   If you haven't tasted this pie, you're missing out! Requires margarine, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and an unbaked pie shell.
Instruction   In a large mixing bowl add the mix, 2 beaten eggs, 2 Tbsp. milk, ½ cup melted margarine, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into 9 inch unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until set. Cool completely.

Name   Dreamsicle Pie 
Description   This pie resembles the taste of the old fashioned orange popsicle with ice-cream in the middle. Requires 2 (8oz) cream cheese, 8 oz cool whip, and a graham cracker crust. For creamier, richer pie, add sweetened condensed milk!
Instruction   Mix 2 (8oz) blocks softened cream cheese with mix using an electric mixer. Stir in 8oz carton of thawed Cool Whip. Pour into graham cracker crust. Chill for 4 hours in refrigerator or 2 hours in freezer. For creamier, richer pie, substitute sweetened condensed milk for one 8 oz cream cheese!

Name   Fudge Pie 
Description   This recipe was donated by a customer in New Orleans. It was a winner with our first bite, and we think you’ll think so too!
Instruction   Preheat oven to 350. Beat 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 small can evaporated milk, and ¼ cup melted margarine or butter. Add the mix. Pour mixture into 9 inch unbaked pie shell and bake for 45 minutes or until set. Let cool completely before slicing. Best chilled overnight before serving.

Name   Funnel Cakes 
Description   These taste exactly like the ones at festivals and fairs! Requires 1 egg, milk, oil, and of course, a funnel! Yields 6 regular sized cakes
Instruction   Pour vegetable oil into skillet to a depth of 1 inch. Heat oil to 360 over medium high heat. In a small bowl, combine 1 egg and ¾ cup milk. Add mix and beat with fork until smooth. Holding finger under funnel opening, pour about ¼ cup of batter into funnel. Allow batter to pour from funnel into hot oil, moving funnel in a circle to form a spiral shape. Fry 1 minute, turn cake, and continue frying until golden brown. Remove to paper towels to drain. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes about 6 regular sized cakes.

Description   This delicious recipe belongs to my grandmother, Mama Joy. Requires eggs, pumpkin, evaporated milk, vanilla, and an unbaked pie crust.
Instruction   Mix contents of package, 1 and ¾ cup pumpkin, 2 eggs, 1 cup evaporated milk, and ¼ tsp. vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and cook for 15 minutes at 425 then reduce to 350 for 30 minutes.

Description   A satisfying old-fashioned cobbler that tastes great with any canned fruit. Add margarine and canned fruit. Makes a 7x11 dish.
Instruction   Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt ½ cup butter in a 7x11 baking dish. Spoon 1 (21oz) can pie filling over melted butter. In a medium bowl, combine mix and ¾ cup water. Pour over pie filling (do not stir). Bake 35-40 minutes or until done.

Description   Easy and delicious pie! You don’t even have to add peanut butter!
Instruction   Soften 8 oz cream cheese, spinkle mix on top and mix well. Add 1 tsp vanilla and 8 oz Cool Whip. Pour into chocolate graham cracker crust.Mix in Reese’s Cups for extra treat!
